I was a tiny bit skeptical, would it be worth it? Rut's claims that this would be cheaper and more effective than Ulpan really caught my eye, and she was not kidding. This course is truly wonderful! I highly highly recommend it! It is very inexpensive for everything that you get. I have just finished the pa'al infinitives and already feel more confident. I am also working one-on-one with an Israeli teacher, but we work on actually speaking, and understanding. I am extremely slow at that - I'm in my 60s. This course is a perfect accompaniment to those lessons. Hebrew verbs are actually easier than French verbs, with their thousand tenses and "moods." Especially the way Rut explains it. Two suggestions: 1) Do. The. Homework. Print out the homework and write it out. Don't just look on the screen! Writing makes things stick in your mind. Plus you will learn to write and read in cursive as well as block letters. Anyway, it's fun! It's kind of like a game, learning the rules and applying them. Plus the Hebrew letters are beautiful! 2) Do it every day, or nearly every day.
